First, Zaxby’s has announced the limited return of its beloved Southwest Zalad®. Despite its near cult-level following, Zaxby’s Southwest Zalad hasn’t been on the menu since 2021. Composed of “fire-roasted corn, crunchy tortilla strips, freshly sliced Roma tomatoes and Cheddar Jack cheese nestled on crisp mixed greens, [and] topped with Zaxby’s grilled or hand-breaded chicken,” according to Patrick Schwing, Zaxby’s chief marketing and strategy officer, “the fresh, made-to-order Southwest Zalad is now available again systemwide, featuring our famous Texas Toast and Southwest Ranch dressing, adding a spicy kick that is not for the faint of flavor.”
Funnel Cake with Caramel Sauce: A Seasonal Classic with a Twist
Love the county fair but hate the long lines? Not to worry, Zaxby’s has you covered. For a limited time only, the chicken experts are adding funnel cakes to their summer menu. But Zaxby’s is giving the classic dessert a signature touch in the form of a side of caramel dipping sauce served with each order of the sugar-topped, batter-fried delicacy.
